Rod MacDonald   and Michael McArthur

Rod MacDonald has recorded 10 CDs in NY and south Florida, and appears in festivals, concerts and cafes throughout N America and Europe. With songs recently recorded by Jonathan Edwards and Shawn Colvin, he's been named “Best Local Acoustic Artist” by New Times and “One of Ten Magnificent Musicians of Palm Beach County” by the Palm Beach Post. His latest cd is Songs Of Freedom on Blue Flute Music. Fort Lauderdale’s Labyrinth Café—where MacDonald appears in concert each year –notes “his personal commitment to communicating events that have affected and shaped our world’s societies…with lyrics and music that are infectious and inspiring, often humorous, sometimes reckless, frequently evocative, usually thought provoking – and – always compelling. Rod’s songs will stay in your heart and mind long after the music has ended.”

Michael McArthur

"Born and raised in Florida, I spent most of my early years playing basketball and listening to every piece of music I could get my hands on. From oldies to hip-hop. I loved it all, and still do.

When I was 16, my grandfather bought me my first guitar. A made in Korea Fender acoustic. I can still remember the day I brought it home. My dad taught me a few chords and a basic strum pattern. I've been writing songs ever since.

Music from the soul for the soul.

Thank you for listening."
